My true passion in life is painting maritime art. It has always been my love deep in my soul. Sailboat paintings and great sailing ship paintings are particular favorites of mine. When I paint a ship or a sailboat, I want you to feel the mist on your face, the power of the sea. I want you to think about the early whalers and their hardships aboard ship. Think about these things when you look at my paintings of warships, sailboat paintings and drawings. Think about the pirates and all of their journeys across the world. I want to bring all of this to life in my sailboat paintings and drawings, and my other renditions of sailing ships, schooners, fighting ships, paddle wheel steamers, captains and crews.
